Nice Sean, you definitely communicated the topic well. I like the little guy there as well, he really helps define the foreground.

A few things that might help you our would be to try some different brushes to convey different materials. For example, try a "rocky" shaped brush for mountains or ice and a crisper, more mechanical brush for the buildings. In general it's a good idea to work from really large brushes-->small brushes. It allows you to mass in the shapes and "impression" of a scene, and then you can use smaller brushes to draw attention and detail to where you want people to look.
